Poetry lands in the Metaverse, thanks to Alterego and Mitilanti

Alterego Digital Lab and the Mitilanti Association have joined forces to expand the spaces of the hybrid boundary between poetry, visual arts and virtual reality. 

 

The dream behind the collaboration between the two entities is to recreate an immersive and virtually explorable experience that is able to amplify and expand the perception, message and content of the poetic texts presented by the authors. Participants, after a brief initial introduction will be invited to enjoy a VR experience that will accompany them between the folds of the texts by Alfonso Pierro, Andrea Fabiani and Filippo Lubrano (Mitilanti).

Alterego digital Lab and Mitilanti have chosen to give life to the initiative in the ever-increasing hope that the passion and enthusiasm that animate our vision of the relationship between art forms and new technologies can be condensed on this occasion, giving users, artists and professionals the opportunity to exchange information on new possible admixtures between disciplines, to experience the virtual experience as a partial key to understanding and decoding the meaning of the poetic text or work of art.
